Wind Anolog is a large scale wind-drawing instrument and kinetic sculpture

It moves gracefully and unexpectedly from winds and eddies, transferring the energy to make a continuous graphite drawing on a white marble slab. It continues to draw in the slightest breeze or the wettest most intense storm. Over weeks, months, years the graphite builds up into a heavy, intricate, glossy drawing.

Wind Anolog is designed for marine conditions. Rated for 120kmh winds, it is constructed from the toughest marine grade materials and is spending its first two years on level 4 above Sydney Harbour.
