A series of long-exposure photographs (average of 5 minutes; C-41 transparency) studying the movement of a pendulum slowing down in 3-dimensional space.

The pendulum uses a rigid rod with an ‘X/Y’ bearing arrangement, which allows the phenomenon of ‘precession’, producing the complex spiraling forms. Located at Queens College Tower, Melbourne University.
